About Us

Mr. Anthony Owa is a consultant ENT surgeon at the Queen’s Hospital,  Romford, U.K., part of Barking, Havering and Redbridge University  Hospitals NHS Trust, London.

He was born in London, U.K. He had his primary medical training in  Benin, Nigeria. He returned shortly after qualifying to undergo  specialist training in ENT in London. He worked in the Royal National  Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital where he had specialist training in  allergies and sinus related diseases. He also worked at the National  Hospital for Neurological and Neurosurgical diseases where he trained in  ear and brain conditions relating to ENT surgery which includes balance  related problems.

Mr. Owa has also worked in the USA where he was awarded the 2002  American Neurotological Society Fellows’ award, one of the few Non  American trained recipients of the award.

He sees both children and adults, specialising in complex ear diseases,  particularly patients with balance problems, snoring and sinus (nose)  related disease. He also sees patients with voice-related problems,  salivary gland disease as well as general ENT problems e.g. Chronic  Tonsillitis.

Mr. Owa has designed a grommet used in the treatment of children with otitis media (glue ear).
